Miljenko Turk

The Croatian baritone began his vocal studies at the University of Music in Graz and completed his studies with Hans Sotin at the University of Music in Cologne.  Miljenko Turk has been a member of the Cologne Opera ensemble for years and has been to venues such as the Parisian Opera de Bastille and the Theater des Champs-Elysees, the Royal Opera House Muscat, the Tokyo Opera Bunka Kaikan, the Dresden Semperoper, the Berlin State Opera and  Stuttgart and the Vienna Volksoper.  

He was a guest at the festivals in Bayreuth, Salzburg, Ludwigsburg and Eutin and at the Maggio Musicale in Florence, the Garsington Festival in England and the Styriarte in Graz. He gave concerts in Amsterdam, Hamburg, Munich, Frankfurt / Main and Düsseldorf. In 2006 he was awarded the Offenbach Prize in Cologne in recognition of his achievements.
